So this is sparked cause i think i am out growing F/B, i think I'm going back to simplifying my life from the hysteria. I will admit there is some informative things and people on these sites but the other 80% is trash, and another outlet to keep up mess and distractions. but now lemme dig in.
i been wondering what have people been doing before f/b and twitter became a craze. when i go out now and look around i notice and see grown ass fucking people (27-37) talking about whats going on on facebook or twitter. like i can see you being on it to past time while your at work or maybe on it while a special episode on tv, or a new movie or basketball game is on. BUT when your out amongst friends and the whole time your out ya'll are talking about what someone had just posted or tweeted and your face is in the phone the whole time........... honestly it looks and sounds childish/high school-ish
i mean once i log out of facebook i don't wanna be told what someone said on on f/b. cause facebook isn't my life, and honestly I don't care, that shit is for entertainment. and it seems people nowadays cant separate the two. i see people that dont read anymore, they dont get things accomplished, their just on Facebook/Twitter, and it has overwhelmed their whole lives. Think about it whats the first thing you do when you wake up in the mornings now. look at your phone and check F/B?? Exactly!!
i had a discussion with a person who started to pay attention to it also and noticed that when she was out, she looked around and all her friends were ALL on the phone and all they talked about the whole time was facebook. like seriously??........... my question i will have to ask is do people not have REAL lives anymore?? can we not have real conversations?? how can you even enjoy yourselves when your out with friends when all your doing is reading the next status or tweet, are we afraid to face the realities of our own lives?? like with people nowadays if it isn't posted on facebook or twitter then you apparently missed the memo and will be lost in translation. is this social network thing having people hide their personalities behind the pc and the smartphone??
what happened to friends going out for drinks and talking about your day or the chic or dude that you just met?? the stresses of your day, family, friends, etc?? is this the new way to have fun?? cause honestly if you actually think about it and look around its quite boring. these things don't stimulate your brain... every day its dumbing you down, and distracting you from whats really going on around you. your missing out on life.
especially our race, we always seem to focus on the irrelevant things in life. reality tv, whose got on designer clothes or not. i mean really that's shit we use to talk about when we were in high school. we grown so who gives a shit!!! ask your self something, worrying about these things help make you feel accomplished how?? *dont worry i'll wait* it doesnt!! the things that i see on facebook/twitter is pure comedy at how people take this as real life, internet beefs, subliminal tweets yet your still on each others friendslist online and hell even speaking when your out in public, and hell some cant even spell which further makes me understand somes mental capacity. smdh. how elementary does that sound. its sounds very trivial and high schoolish. i mean i even met a female that all she talked about was f/b and twitter i was like "ummmm, excuse me how old are you again??" cause this wasn't interesting AT all, and i had to give the *go i care facial expression*
is it a cry for help of loneliness or needing to feel accepted amongst the masses of people?? i mean come on alot of us add people just to be adding them and we really don't even know the person or speak too'em. to some it makes us feel important that you have that many people as your so called friends. that's why you see and hear people feel a certain kinda way when someone didn't accept their friend request or find out you been deleted. is this the new way to determine who your friends are or not now?? come on now grown ass people are we serious?? isn't there more important things in your life right now then to worry about shit like that or what someone is posting on facebook?? yes its entertaining, but learn to separate it from real life. #IJS
this is a society now where Reality tv is not even reality (maybe their own reality) an its now directed and has writers.
whats funny is that if these media outlets were to shut down this very second alot of you would be lost, may even drive yourselves crazy. which is honestly sad. i can see why young people are on it all the time they have nothing else better to do but what is the reasons grown ass people are on it, to the point where your losing sleep or cant get shit done, or accomplished cause your on these sites. come on now people, WAKE UP!!!!!!
